Say, let's have lunch together! There's a lot of fun to have with our silent auction, to raise money for student scholarships. If you have an item to put on the block, donating makes it more fun. No six foot rabbits named Harvey, please. We will announce the winner of our 1st V.P. contest. Bring a guest who might want to talk with our guy who is heading out to Wash. D.C. on April 15 to lobby for us all on the WEP-GPO repeal. From San Diego to Eureka we are hoping to meet with our CA. reps. in Congress. There will also be a report on the Dr.Seuss Read in the Class Day (Sequoia), and on our Teacher Mini-grants (Modoc).
Reminder: bring a jar of peanut butter for those in need, bring a book for our Little Library (Buckeye) and a good used bra (ask Kristi why) Hear about our table at the Multi-cultural Faire. Meet a teacher from Western Weaverville, Eastern Alturas, Northern Weed, and maybe even Southern Cottonwood! Congratulations to Mayrene Edmiaston who was recognized for years and years of service to Div 16. Thanks to Cregg for the neat wooden pencil-holders at the tables ... give-away to our guests, and those of who can't resist them. Thanks to all of you roll-out to lunch in a wheel-chair! And to those of you who walk in on 2 legs, think about offering to help us out. Thanks to Georgianna and Rick Light who visited us, and the goodreport on our healthy LES state Scholarship Fund.
